Landline’s inaugural trip departs Duluth International Airport Edit

Landline now offers a new, nonstop service option connecting Duluth International Airport to MSP. To mark the occasion Landline held an open house on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Duluth International Airport. Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce joined the celebration and welcomed Landline to town with a formal ribbon cutting. Guests enjoyed bus tours, refreshment and witnessed the departure of Landline’s inaugural trip.

Landline is redefining the regional transportation model at local airports and making it easier for communities to connect to affordable travel. “Our unique service model provides local travelers with friendly, reliable, low-fare bus-to-air transportation to the MSP airport,” said Co-founder David Sunde. “Passengers can also use Landline to spend the day in Minneapolis. Take the light rail at MSP and enjoy a game, concert or day of shopping without the hassle of parking or traffic.”

Landline offers travelers a comfortable and convenient connection to MSP or a Minneapolis getaway at an affordable price. Travelers can select the departure/arrival time, standard or fully refundable fare and seat location on the booking tool at One-way tickets begin at $9.

Landline’s custom designed motor coaches include onboard amenities like in-seat power, Wi-Fi, leather seats with ample legroom and onboard restrooms. All busses have ADA-compliant lifts and seating.

Co-founders Sunde and Ben Munson identified Minnesota as the ideal location to launch their business based on their study of enplanement trends at regional airports across the country. “We found the presence of a connection to a leisure carrier option at the airport grows the market for everybody,” said Munson. “This innovative and diverse alternative for connecting the region to additional air service options will bring more people in and out of the Duluth Airport.”
